Starman Electric Releases DataBridge V2 Wireless Modules

Starman Electric announces the release of DataBridge™ V2 Wireless I/O modules. DataBridge wireless I/O modules offer a simple and reliable solution for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless. Modules automatically link together and function as a wireless cable for analog, digital, and serial signals. No complex configuration or development is needed to create reliable bidirectional wireless networks.

“These modules offer the next step in easy wireless technology, making wireless so simple that any developer can incorporate reliable wireless into their product. We’ve listened carefully to our customers and will continue to improve this product line in the future,” said Michael Starman, Founder of Starman Electric.

The wireless modules do not require any software or programming experience, and can be configured through a simple jumper interface. For a more flexible setup, a serial command line interface is also supported. DataBridge V2 continues to offer the lowest latency on the market for wireless data transmission, while maintaining very low power and long range. Reliable data integrity is ensured by using checksums and acknowledgments and avoiding interference through its advanced hybrid frequency hopping scheme.

Wireless is becoming ever more popular in today's modern electronics and circuits. Consumers are demanding wireless for its sleek appeal and freedom of movement, and for some applications it's a requirement. About DataBridge™

DataBridge™ is a wireless I/O transceiver module used for point-to-point bridging of analog, digital, and Serial UART RS-232 data. Two modules automatically link together and function as a wireless cable, bridging both sides through a low-latency, full-duplex wireless RF link.

Signals are sampled and repeated 200 times per second with a latency of only 5 milliseconds. DataBridge™ offers the lowest latency on the market, while maintaining low power and long range. Reliable data delivery is ensured by avoiding interference through frequency hopping, and data integrity is maintained using checksums and acknowledgments.

Using simple jumpers, each DataBridge™ device can be configured as a master or slave, and up to 16 device pairs can operate in the same area by setting a Network ID. UART baud rates are also configurable without software, and can display all I/O and status information for additional control.

No software configuration or programming is required.
